I'm an aesthetician based in Munich, originally from Latvia.

My way into beauty wasn't particularly straightforward. I studied Arts & Events Management in the UK and worked in the arts before eventually finding my way to skincare - a world that somehow brought together many of the things I've always been drawn to: aesthetics, human connection, attention to detail and the feeling that something small can completely change how you feel.

Since becoming an aesthetician, I've worked with different approaches to skin - from advanced treatments and technology to facial massage and the simple power of touch. The more I learn, the less interested I am in chasing perfection. I'm interested in healthy skin, thoughtful treatments and understanding what the person in front of me actually needs.

One day, I want to create a small treatment space of my own. I know how I want it to feel long before I know exactly what it will look like: personal, unhurried, beautiful without trying too hard, and somewhere you genuinely look forward to coming back to.

I don't have that space yet.

So, for now, this is mine.

A place for everything I'm learning about skin and beauty, the products and treatments I find genuinely interesting, and the process of figuring out what kind of aesthetician I want to become.

But I don't want this to be only about skincare.

I love fashion, beautiful spaces, travel and finding inspiration in seemingly insignificant things. And when I'm not thinking about skin, there's a good chance I'm swimming, cycling or running somewhere -mostly because at some point I decided doing an Ironman sounded like a reasonable hobby.

Consider this a journal of the things I'm learning, questioning, loving and building - somewhere between the treatment room and whatever comes next.
